Abstract

It is evident that we are living in an era where technology and digitalization run the human activity in many aspects of our daily bases like never before. This makes us ask ourselves about the produced changes in space, since these changes happen in a faster way like almost everything in the information age. Are the cities destined to become just a conglomerate set of buildings without any link between? If the public space loses its sense like we know it today, because of the virtualization in social relations, should it have to be replaced? In this article we make an analysis for these sociospatial practices, since the phenomenon that the city has faced from modernization leads us to understand the city of the XXI century as a multifaceted, fragmented and in a constant conflict, because of its pattern of constant adaptation to new processes.
