Abstract

The training process in Higher Education has been transformed according to social needs. In particular, environmental training has been intended from awareness as a reflective process in the educational context, accompanied by the search for solutions to problems caused by the transgression of man to the environment.

In the Architecture career, the importance of the commitment of students with their environment in correspondence with the development needs in the territories is guaranteed from the teaching-educational process. From the process of improvement of the Study Plans, an approach to the socioeconomic demands of the country is advocated based on achieving professional training and development with ethical, social and environmental responsibility.

The text intends to assess the environmental training process of the specialty at the University of Camagüey from the design of an educational strategy that facilitates this end. The method of analysis and synthesis, and induction-deduction is used in the approach to the state of the art, the study and criticism of sources in the theoretical supports, and the Delphi method for the evaluation of the design of the strategy.
