Del burdel al espacio digital: imaginarios narrativos del comercio sexual femenino en la ZMM

By sex trade from the urban imaginary, we understand those manifestations of economic activity derived from the tertiary sector that generate a productive surplus capable of impacting a population and that, at the same time, have a status of exclusion that results in a spatial paradoxical notion, based on the impulse to segment, shield, disguise or extract its physical presence from the city. His practice unfolds in a constant ambiguity sustained not by a judicial prohibition, but by representations that make him the object of stigma or public condemnation. In this work we will analyze from a semiotic-narrative approach the different contexts in which female sexual commerce is developed and its communicative mediations that can generate all kinds of representations, not only linked to this practice but even, transforming the margins of acceptance, condemnation, or social exclusion.
